As the AVP of Data Science, you will leverage advanced AI & ML to address and resolve complex business challenges. You will oversee the design and development of innovative data science solutions while ensuring the delivery of projects meets the highest standards of client satisfaction. In this leadership role, you will manage a team of data scientists, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide strategic and technical direction in the field of data science. You will also play a key role in the innovation and enhancement of our product and solution offerings.

- Provide strategic leadership and vision for the Data Science team.
- Drive the development and deployment of advanced data science solutions.
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to achieve project goals and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data science solutions into business processes.
- Innovate and develop new ideas for products and solution offerings.
Mandatory Technical Skills for Associate Vice President
- Proficient in Python with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) skills.
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, AWS CodeCommit).
- Familiarity with task management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Ability to design and deploy end-to-end data science solutions.
- Strong statistical and machine learning intuition to tackle new problems.
Mandatory Soft Skills
- Strong desire and capability to learn new skills and innovate.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with team members and clients.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with PySpark and SQL.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Exposure to any cloud stack.
- Familiarity with MLOps.
- Project management experience.
Experience & Education
- Overall 8+ years of experience in solving complex ML problems, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in each of your Core Excellence Areas.
- At least 3 years of experience in leading and managing ML projects from inception to completion.
- Minimum of a B.E. or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. A postgraduate degree in AI/ML/DS is highly desirable.
